World Gratitude Day! How did you celebrate?

"The hardest arithmetic to master is that which enables us to count our blessingsā€ Eric Hoffer

World Gratitude Day: September 21, 2013, what a great reason to celebrate with others around the world!

It is said that Gratitude keeps us connected to our source of supply. If our source is infinite, then we need not be afraid of taking more than our share.

How true does that statement feel to you?

At times, we are reminded of our earlier programming, which tells us of limited supply, and yet, if we look around us, especially this time of year, it seems nature can't help but contradict those earlier messages we may have received in childhood.

The fields are stocked with corn, the leaves are falling from the trees, and everywhere we look, it appears there is an abundant harvest. It's a good idea to take this time to truly be grateful for what we have in our lives, and count our blessings.

I spent World Gratitude Day with my children, and although it rained for most of the day, I put my attention on appreciating the time spend playing, doing crafts, and having a restful weekend.

The challenge is this: How would your day be different, if in the morning your started with making a list of 10 things to be grateful for? This will help you to start the day off in the right vibration, and pull more abundance towards you.

For more ways on how to cultivate an "attitude of gratitude" check out some book recommendations and techniques here: How to Develop Gratitude. By adopting this mindset to start your day, it will impact your interactions with others, and have a positive influence in your life.

To your success!
