Are you looking for Tips to Change Mindset?
You're flying out the door with caffeine in your hand, rallying kids (or dogs) with you, feeling out of control with no sense of direction?
Or, you have no clear steps that outline where you are going on your personal development path?
Congrats! You're in the right place to get information that will help.
We have all felt this way at some point in our lives.
Are you needing help in getting unstuck as you're not sure what to start with, and are feeling overwhelmed perhaps?
Keep reading then, for great coping strategies!
by Jennifer Sparks
You’ll find this book useful if you need help getting unstuck or are just coasting along in life, if you’ve recently been dealt a harsh blow and don’t know where to start to pick up the pieces, or the many degrees of mediocrity in between.
She speaks in a voice that has experienced what many would call the “trials and tribulations” of life, and yet she hasn’t let up and allowed hopelessness to grab her by the throat and make her a victim of circumstances.
This book has minimal fluff.
This is good because any Joe Shmoe can hang out their hat as a self-help guru these days.
It’s refreshing to find something concise and relatable with strategies for real life and useful to change mindset.
Jennifer Sparks uses a candid, No B.S. approach when writing, which is not for everybody, especially not for those who are not looking to be woken up out of the autopilot fog that they are currently living in.
If you’re not up for the challenge of looking at exactly where you are right now (with a microscope I might add!), and putting the hard-core effort into finding solutions instead of complaining about your lot in life, RUN, don’t walk away from this book.
However, if you’re tired of being sick and tired, overwhelmed, willing to do the work, and need a blueprint to get back on track again, this is the resource for you!
Some of the areas of change this book focuses on include:
With a lighthearted style and Buckets of Honesty, Sparks reveals her vulnerabilities.
In doing so, she fosters the courage in you that is needed to look at what isn’t working in your life, and give you what she calls SWIFTKICK TIPS to take steps forward to change mindset and achieve a life you may have long-since given up on.
A Personal Development Journal is also available as a PDF document for free on her website.
Don’t just download it though, USE it!
I’ve used a journal for years. It includes prompts and will help you take inventory of where you are.
It’s also a great way to measure
how far you’ve come once you get some accomplishments under your belt. Then you
can celebrate both moving in a direction of YOUR choice and getting unstuck!
Although written as a girlfriend waking you up with a swift kick in the you-know-what, I’m thinking that this book could also be an effective resource for men to change attitude and perception as well.
I’ve found in my coaching practice that often times travel around in more of a dense fog about awareness levels and the early childhood programming that is dictating their unconscious actions more than women are.
Or perhaps the author has a version for men, co-authored perhaps, in the queue ready for publication?
I can only hope for that “Spark” of awareness soon to come :o)
