Personal Growth Affirmations are an excellent way to help achieve your goals, help you change your habitual thinking, and increase your self esteem.
Feel free to use the affirmations below, or alter them as you see fit to make them personalized for you .
I usually write out a few of my favourites in a little book, and keep them on hand throughout the day. The repetition becomes deeply ingrained in my subconscious mind. I use affirmations as a tool to focus my thinking when I have allowed something or someone to knock me off course. This helps me build a positive thinking attitude.
Another powerful way of doing affirmations is to use a mirror. Look into your own eyes, and really feel what you are saying. Saying affirmations out loud adds some energy! At first, there may be feelings of discomfort. That is your old paradigm building resistance. Keep going anyway.
As you build this new habit, you will automatically begin to shift your awareness. The personal growth affirmations will then become a positive, powerful strategy for personal change and development. Affirmations will change your beliefs about who you are and what is possible in your life.
To customize your own affirmations, begin with the following:
I am so happy and grateful now that….(fill in the blanks here). It is important that whatever you affirm, you use the present tense, and make sure it is positive. For example, instead of saying "I am so happy and grateful now that I am no longer in debt" change it to "I am so happy and grateful now that I have more than enough money to pay my expenses".
I repeat the following phrase after many personal growth affirmations, usually those where I have a specific goal in mind. This is because I believe that there is an intelligence in the universe that far exceeds my own:
This or something better for all concerned.
Also, make sure your affirmations are specific. For example, instead of "I am so happy and grateful for my new car" rephrase it as "I am so happy and grateful now that I am driving my new silver Porsche Cayenne SUV."
Better yet, go and get a glossy brochure of the new car, or have a friend take a picture of you in it at the dealership! Saying the affirmation, combined with having the picture will add more energy to your subconscious mind, and build the picture more quickly.
Abundance surrounds us. All we have to do is open our eyes to see the abundance that is reflected in nature: millions of seeds that fall from the trees in the spring, the corn that sprouts from those seeds in the summer, and the plentiful harvest we give thanks for in the fall.
The following are some Personal Growth Affirmations to build up feelings of abundance in all areas of our lives.
I am always in the right place at the right time, abundance is simple and natural to me and all of my needs and wants are constantly met.
I am so happy and grateful now that money comes to me in increasing quantities, from multiple sources, on a continual basis. (From Bob Proctor’s work).
Wealth is my birthright.
I now create a wonderful opportunity to provide excellent service, and I am compensated richly.
I am a generous spirit, someone who is caring, giving, and compassionate to those around me. I am grateful for what wealth has allowed me to achieve.
There is plenty of money in the world and large chunks of it are going to drop effortlessly into my lap. (Stuart Wilde)
I am so happy and grateful now that I earn thousands of dollars every day providing value and quality to my clients. (Change “clients” as applicable.)
I easily earn more than enough to pay my expenses and provide for my family.
I have an attitude of mind that radiates praise, joy, courage and happiness to all who are affected by my influence. What I want for myself, I want for others. There is always enough to go around.
Abundance surrounds me in all areas of my life.
Self Esteem is one of the cornerstones of personal growth. We can draw from our ability to change and create the life we want. Here are some Personal Growth Affirmations to help you build up and strengthen that feeling of empowerment:
I am present and enjoy life as it is in each moment of Now.
I choose to live Now, and accept that I will not understand, nor be understood by everyone, all of the time.
I am a flexible, enthusiastic, and a willing learner. I am open to new possibilities and challenges in my life.
I love and approve of myself, exactly the way I am.
Everything is now working out for my highest good.I have within me all I need for success.
I’ve heard throughout my life that if you don’t have your health, you don’t have anything. Many people are rushing around these days with no focus, trying so hard to have this, experience that, make this amount of money and keep up with the Joneses. Friends I know are stressed to the max, unhappy, and generally end up hitting a wall with their health.
It’s been said that we don’t need to slow down, we need to calm down . With calmness comes focus, and with focus comes contentment and serenity. Here are some Personal Growth Affirmations for Health:
My body is strong, fit, lean and healthy.
Every day, in every way, I am getting healthier.
I am healthy, attractive, and wonderful to be around.
My body is the house of my soul. I nourish it and take care of it on an ongoing basis.
My subconscious mind that created my body is healing and I am grateful. I rest safe in the knowledge that it is so.
I internally create a perfect, patterned plan of health, and am grateful for the perfection that lies within.
I am willing to release the pattern in me that created these conditions. (from Louise L. Hay’s book, You can Heal Your Life ).
My body is perfect, whole, and complete.
I forgive (fill in the blank). He/she is free and I am free.
